Alberto Villoldo
Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D., was educated
at the Saybrook Institute and Sonoma State University.
He is the founder of the Four Winds Society. Trained
in psychology and medical anthropology, he has developed
a body of shamanic knowledge that is readily accessible
to the West. Dr. Villoldo has served on the faculty of
San Francisco State University, where he directed the
Bio-Self regulation laboratory. He is the founder of
the Mountain Medicine and Clothe the Children projects.
He is the author of many books including the recent Shaman,
Healer, Sage, a main selection of the One Spirit Book
Club.
